This is the first of Sharyn McCrumb's books that I have read. It was credible - no amateur sleuth's happening upon a murder every time they blink. Thoughtful writing makes the most of normal storylines.......the abused ex wife who murders her former husband.......the preacher who dies mysteriously after taking a second wife while still married to the first.......the mother of the main characters.......and the dolphin. None of this gives any of the stories away. Very definitely well worth reading. I'm going to browse through now to choose my next Sharyn McCrumb books. P.S. You could let absolutely anyone read it without them being ofended by bad language etc.
