4.0 out of 5 stars The second book to buy,,,,, 16 Jan 2004
A slightly more technical book for the triathlete who has finished at least one triathlon. Useful for the sheer volume of information that it contains - and a chapter on shopping - the fourth leg!

5.0 out of 5 stars Indispensable, 9 Nov 2009
By P. Clift "panjo2" (East Sussex, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this book after having a copy on loan from the library for the previous three months. As an 'age grouper' coming to triathlon as a sport in the past year I have been looking for a source of clear, concise and practical knowledge that I could use to develop my interest and achieve my goals. This is it. If you want to invest in something that will tell you everything you need to know, in easy language, and that will last for as long as your interest lasts, this is it. I have read it from cover to cover and I am now going back into it selectively to remind myself what I need to do in each discipline, and across disciplines, in respect of technique improvements and timing plans. If I could give it 5½ stars I would.
