Product Description

Pam Young and Peggy Jones were "born slobs" who changed their attitudes and developed a great organising programme. Now, updated and revised, including a new chapter on using a personal computer, here is their classic guide that has helped over half a million people who are...SIDETRACKED HOME EXECUTIVES. Pam and Peggy learned to analyse their needs and priorities and set up a rotating card system. Now they'll reveal how you too can: * Take the First Step Out of the Pigpen * Quickly Conquer Those Kitchen and Bathroom Meanies * Get Your Kids to Clean Their Rooms - and Have Fun Doing It * Prepare for and Enjoy the Holidays With witty cartoons, hysterical anecdotes and simple charts, SIDETRACKED HOME EXECUTIVES shows how anyone can easily organise his or her time, home and life!

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful motivation combined with an easy system that works!, 6 Sep 1999
By A Customer
This book is really an inspiration to those who either don't "have the time" or those without the know-how, to get going and get organized. I learned things about my life-style that I never realized were bad habits contributing to my unease and sloppiness. I'm now cleaning and organizing things I never gave much thought about. Easy "instructions" help to schedule chores and to delegate the easy-to-do ones to the children. this book was such a help to point me in the right direction and I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Organise your life with 3 by 5's, 21 Aug 2003
I will admit it takes time to sort your personal index out. Stick with it and do as they say. Read the book ALL the way through, have a laugh, reminicse about your disasters. Go to Staples and buy your box with cards etc.. Then spend the next 3 months writing and re-writing cards and getting a clean and organised home. 90% of the time (we're all human after all) Eventually some things are second nature and to my surprise even my husband noticed the difference in my calmer self and he and the children saw the tangible results and started to enjoy helping out.

5.0 out of 5 stars I read this in 1992. It's GREAT! Got to read it again., 11 Aug 1999
By A Customer
I read this back when we bought our first home. It really helped. And it's funny, too. We've moved and share a house with our parents. The whole place needs reorganizing.... I've got to have another copy of this book. I must have given my first copy away to a friend in need. I highly recommend the read and Hey... do it. It works!
