5.0 out of 5 stars It works!, 19 May 2006
Anyone mocking this book has not read it enough times or simply not understood the concepts being delivered!.. it makes so much sense and it really, really works. Before using this book i had RSI to the point where i couldnt type, chronic pain left over from whiplash in my shoulder and chronic jaw pain. I'd had physio on my RSI and whiplash but to no real success, and hospital treatment for my jaw to no real success. After 3 weeks of reading this book (over and over again) i was COMPLETELY FREE of any pain. I really couldnt believe it!!..

The fact modern medicine does not accept these pages as truth is an absolute disgrace - millions upon millions of pounds spent on healthcare which is entirely unnecessary.

If you are in pain, and are a sarno type (perfectionist or goodist), you need to read this book!!..

4.0 out of 5 stars worked for me, 22 May 2006
By IT Worker (surrey, england) - See all my reviews
Reading it thoroughly twice and implementing the recommendations in this book, has helped me address some debilitating RSI related pains which I'd been carrying for more than 6 years.

Different strokes for different folks and all that, but for me this book was a winner after spending years and countless £££ trying to treat my symptoms

5.0 out of 5 stars Free from agonising back pain, 29 Mar 2007
After many tests, painful physio, and painkillers that didn't work my Doctor was advising tests for secondary bone cancer. After following the instructions in this book, the excruciating pain in my spine, which had increased to the point where I was housebound and miserable, vanished in minutes! My Doctor concurred that given my circumstances it was conceivable that the pain had psychological origins and admitted that the tests for bone cancer she was advising were a 'shot in the dark' given that all else had failed to pinpoint a cause. As I continue the mental exercises the muscle pain is diminishing daily and I can contemplate a return to work soon. The Doctor is following my case with interest, I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
