4.0 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled!, 19 Sep 2000
This book is the same book as "Black Market". However, it is still a thrilling read - not in the class as the cult favourites "Along Came a Spider", "Kiss the Girls", "Jack and Jill", "Cat and Mouse", "Pop goes the Weasel", etc etc.

It is still a highly recommended book, as goes for all of the James Patterson novels!

2.0 out of 5 stars Drawn out early work from Patterson, 11 Jan 2008
This is a 1986 early effort from Patterson (called Balck Market), and it shows. I'm glad he got better. The plot seemed good from the back cover and the first chapter started well with a group of ex- Vietnam U.S. veterans attempting to hold New York Financial system hostage for some equitable treatment for hard serving vets. Thereon the book becomes really drawn out and a chore. I had to scan read the last 100 pages just to finish it. Not recommended.
