3.0 out of 5 stars An okay-ish, run of the mill book, 2 Jan 2000
The opening chapter was unusually long-winded for a McBain novel (fifty pages). Having said that he does manage to combine the three threads of the story quite nicely. It's just we've come to expect a bit more of the great man. One to buy only after you've read all of the 87th Precinct books.
