4.0 out of 5 stars An entertaining look at reality for a young woman in trouble, 8 Jul 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Where the Heart is (Hardcover)
This is a rewarding story with an unlikely premise. There are enough strange characters to make it Anytown, USA, but they are distinctly Oklahoman in nature. Letts' writing is deft and compact, and her descriptions leave nothing out. I was enchanted by Novalee and her struggle.
