Physical Therapies in Sport and Exercise brings together international authorities in physical therapy and allows the reader to keep up to date on modern practice. The book covers all aspects of physical therapy in sport including screening, medical management and psychological aspects of injury and rehabilitation. Each part of the body has it's own chapter written by authors such as Jenny McConnell, Lynn Snyder-Mackler and Mark Jones and are well supported by current research. Sport specific examples are littered throughout the book to allow the therapist to apply theory to practice. The chapters on tendon by Jill Cook and motor control by Paul Hodges were particularly interesting.

I would recommend this book as a user friendly text book that can either be dipped into for reference or that can be read from start to finish.
