4.0 out of 5 stars Watery world with lot's of surprises, 28 Mar 2007

This review is from: Lazarus Effect (Paperback)
As expected with these authors a terrific read. Regrettably the bad guy is really bad and too easy to identify, but the other characters thankfully are less predictable. However, the way this world has been structured is absolutely great. What an imagination. The world of Pandora in the Jesus Incident was strange, but this is even better. The extreme opposite to the dry, hot and sandy world of Dune, and something else. Sometimes you can just smell the organics of the drifting islands while the cool interiors of the mermen space can easily be visualised, thanks to the skillful descriptions. If you're a Herbert fan, please try this.
