This is the best book I have ever read! It is filled with twists and turns in the magical and delightful plot. Since I got it, I have read it 6 times! Read this book!

Astounding! For once, the sequel is better than the original. Not by much, though. T.A. Barron is one of the best fantasy authors I have ever read; right up there with Madeline L'Engle and Patricia Wrede. He has once again woven a complicated tale of who we are and who we think others are. He has made us burst out laughing and sent tears down our cheeks in the same book. This novel will give you a startling jolt of reality and fiction and will make you wonder if you are who you think you are.

I really liked this book because of all the books I have read, I don't think that I have ever read as good as sequal as this. It answered a lot of my questions that were left unanswered at the end of "The Lost Years of Merlin". It also had a lot more energy than the first one and didn't beat around the bush as much. There was a lot more action and I really liked that. It also had more characters and places and showed how each of them turned out after the first book. I have not yet read "The Fires of Merlin" and can hardly wait to get it.
