Product Description

Archie is a very mature child - some would say far too mature! Having grown up with his gran, he seems to have acquired some adult ways - and the kids at his new school find them unbearable. Especially Miranda - the class troublemaker. At first she absolutely can't stand Archie but then she starts to see him as a bit of a project- could she really make Archie into a Troublemaker Extraordinaire? Their unlikely friendship really gets going when Archie needs help to scare off his dad's new girlfriend...

5.0 out of 5 stars Couldn't stop listening.., 15 Jul 2008
By K. Price (Winchester) - See all my reviews

Great read - really moving. I listened with my children in the car to the audio version which was beautifully done. I confess that when the journey was over I just had to carry on listening - I wanted to know what happened! Loved it.

4.0 out of 5 stars COOL BOOK!, 23 Aug 2005
By Rachel S. "Rachumz" (Malta, Europe) - See all my reviews
I enjoyed reading this book, not only because the story is good but also because of the way it's written! It's all about this nerd boy and Miranda the troublemaker. Most of the book is taken from the diary of the nerd but there are also some letters which the troublemaker sends to an Agony Aunt and the Agony Aunt's replies. A very good read guarenteed!
