Pete Johnson is like the children's version of Stephen King. I have read three books by him: The Protectors, Ten Hours to Live and The Frighteners. The Protectors was brilliant, Ten Hours to Live was good but The Frighteners was A W E S O M E !

I won't give you any details about it because it will spoil the surprise, but the ending makes this book a best-of Pete Johnson. I've met Johnson and I have his signiture, and I think they should turn this into a movie! It's that good! Bye it, because if you don't, you're life will never be the same again...
