Alien Secrets is a great space opera--remniscent of the Heinlein juveniles of the forties and fifties. Unaffected and unselfconscious, the author takes the reader on a fun (and funny) trip through the universe. Annette Curtis-Klause's more serious fiction--The Silver Kiss and Blood and Chocolate--are better, more literary books. Alien Secrets is a lot of fun.

This is an outstanding book because there is suspense and action. People who love mysteries would also enjoy this book. I would nominate this book for an award!
