5.0 out of 5 stars Hard to put down and makes you want to smile, 5 Feb 2001
This is one of those books that once you make up your mind to buy, neither will you change it nor will you regret buying it (which is what obviously happened to me). I thoroughly enjoyed reading it, especially because it was a light romantic comedy and makes you forget about your worries for a while. The way Austin and Elizabeth meet and their meetings after that are delightful and make you laugh out loud. Robert is a lovable character you would love to have around you (and I for one would love for there to be a book about him). Miles and Caroline - they are quite a pair. Towards the end it is a bit sad and makes you feel for both Austin and Elizabeth, and it is finished off quite well indeed. Jacquie has written a marvellous book and i for one will buy her other books without any doubt.

4.0 out of 5 stars very enjoyable!!!!!!, 11 May 2001
although i wouldnt say this book is absol. wicked it was very intresting and did have that feel-good-factor. which most books dont. the characters were realistic and funny the plot v. interesting. however i did find the book to be rather long, which i found to be the only downfall- but you m,ay wish it to be longer so GO READ THE BOOK YOURSELF - DEF WORTH A READ OR TWO!!!!!!!
