The most amazing book Ive ever read!, 18 Mar 2003
Usually i find books really hard to get into, but this one i could not put down right from the first page. I read the whole book in 2 days and i cried my eyes out at it. Its the kind of book that makes you thankful that you weren't around during the secong world war. Poor Ariana has been through so much in her life, and just when she wants to give up and die, an amazingly friendly american jewish family take her under their wings, and bring her back from the dark life she had come to accept. In this book there are so many unexpected twists and turns that you never know whats going to happen next, thats the beauty of this book. And the ending was a bit predictable, but i still wouldnt want it to have ended any other way. Danielle Steel is an brilliant writer, and this is the best book i have ever read
