This is exactly what it says-Mary Astors life on film.I found it fascinating;she started as an actress in the silent era,working with stars such as John Barrymore,with whom she had an affair,and ended her film career in 1964 with Hush,hush,sweet Charlotte.
I could not put this down and was sorry when i finished it.I first read it years ago and was delighted to find it in marketplace.It is written by a film star,but she comes over as a real person.
