Product Description

Product Description

You've probably heard of Elvis... He is dead famous for: ...being the King of Rock 'n' Roll ...having trouble fitting into his spangly white jumpsuits ...causing a riot with a wiggle of his pelvis. But have you heard that Elvis ...escaped from tornadoes by hidiing in a cave ...flew halfway across America for 22 giant sandwiches ...had a tooth stuck in his lung? Yes, even though he's dead, Elvis is still full of surprises. Now you can get the inside story with Elvis's lost diary, peek in the pages of 'The Hillbilly Herald', and check out our exclusive guide to Elvis impersonating.

(TOP 50 REVIEWER)
From the popular DEAD FAMOUS series of books `Elvis and his Pelvis`.

`Even though he wiggled his last wiggle way, back in the 1970s, almost everyone has heard of Elvis. And they know loads of stuff about him..........This book is packed with sizzling stories and devastating data about the amazing King of Rock `n` Roll, like the secret behind his famous wiggle.........It also contains terrific tales of his telly-shooting tantrums, his staggering spending sprees, the luxury cars he gave away to complete strangers and the nutty stuff his fans got up to.....'

207 pages dedicated to the life of the `King of Rock `n' Roll`.

Split into chapters:-

Introduction
Itty-bitty Elvis
Terrible Tupelo
The Beale Street boogie
Go man.....go!
Colonel Tom takes over
Atomic Elvis
Jet-propelled Presley
I'm gonna get me in the movies
Glad is sad
GI blues
El's angels
The Comeback Kid
Elvis Presley's really big adventure
The last wiggle
The Elvis effect
After Elvis

Written in a variety of fonts with humorous black and white cartoon illustrations throughout, this is a good read for an older child.
