Synopsis
It was Christmas Eve. Father Christmas put the last few toys into a sack and swung it onto his back. But the sack was old and worn. It had a hole in one corner. "Eek!" said the bear as he slid through the hole...and watched Father Christmas leave without him!

EDISONS FANTASTIC PHONOGRAPH, HORSE STORIES THAT REALLY HAPPENED and RUBY RED AND SKY BLUE comes a story about a Teddy bear who ends up being a self delivering Christmas present!
First published in 1994, this book is author Diana Kimpton's first and most successful paperback {half a million copies sold worldwide} and is simply, by humorously illustrated by Anna Kiernan.
I loved this book as a kid {and if I'm honest, I still do now!} because I thought the Teddy bear character was endearing, and because MADELEINE {the girls name mentioned throughout the story} sounds like MADELINE {my middle name!}
This book is very easy to read {perfect reading for 3-6 year olds} has colour illustrations on every page and would make the perfect distraction for impatient children on an early Christmas morning,

Utterly fabulous!
