4.0 out of 5 stars A really good book!, 15 Jun 2002
By A Customer
I really enjoyed reading this book. The author has been able to not just tell the story of how Lizzy ended up in Australia, but what actually HAPPENED to her once she got there. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much, as the actual story line is non-fiction and a bit sad, but I found it very easy to get into. I sypathised with Elizabeth being sent away from her family and being accused of doing something that she didn't.
Overall, I think that anyone from age 10 upwards would enjoy this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best my storys., 11 Jan 2009
A Kid's Review
Transported is one of the best my stories. It tells you about a girl called Lizzie who is transported for seven years because of something she did not do. It then goes on to tell you about her life once she has been transported- one criminal, who was hit on the head by head by the police and has gone mad, is hung by all the transported people because he is a danger!!!
