3.0 out of 5 stars A bit of a disappointment., 29 Sep 2004

THE STORY:
Aurra Sing takes young Boba to Aargau in the hopes of gaining a share of Jango Fett's secret fortune. Boba must find a way of accessing his father's money whilst slipping out of Aurra's clutches.

WHAT'S GOOD:
I enjoyed the scene where Boba is confronted by a clone youth as it highlights how very different he is from his genetically identical brothers. The Separatist leader San Hill (from 'Attack of the Clones') puts in an appearance here, as does Jabba the Hutt's nephew Gorga (who becomes one of Boba's regular employers years later, in the Boba Fett comics set after 'Return of the Jedi').

WHAT'S BAD:
All in all, the story lacks the epic and exciting feel of the previous two books in the series. Also, Aurra's reaction to being asked to leave her weapon's behind makes her seem far too stupid to be a successful bounty hunter. Oh, and don't be taken in by the 'A Clone Wars Novel' line on the front.
