4.0 out of 5 stars Jedi Quest book 4, 24 Nov 2003
By A Customer
This book is a great read for young people and adults a like i liked this book and im a young adult. This book is about Obi-wan and Anakin, testing there team work and there relationship and i must say, is it really Anakin's thought that he turns to the dark side when hes older, or is it more the teaching Obi-wan gives him or doesn't give him?. This book has more verity of charaters some popular ones and some we've never heard of, this book also brings back Obi-wans and Anakins enemy and pushes Anakin to the edge of his emotional ability. I can't really fault this book except it being to short like all Jedi Quest books you just don't want the advenger to end.

5.0 out of 5 stars Obi-Wan cares so much about Anakin ! : ), 23 Oct 2006
In this story, the Jedi are on a special mission to help those people of Mawan who have been forced to live underground because their planet has been mostly destroyed by war and the resulting chaos.
As a result of that, three crimelords have taken control of the planet, battling over food and fuel.
I think this story is full of surprises, because (It's no secret, though)

1. You will meet Yaddle, the female version of Yoda.
2. You get to see Obi-Wan and Anakin play musical instruments and sing in a band and you will find some humour in this scene.
3. One of Obi-Wan and Anakin's worst enemies makes a surprise attack and this bad guy seems to be only after one thing - and that's Anakin (!).
4. One of the senior members of the Jedi Council will be in grave danger.

In fact, Anakin has been waiting for a chance to impress his Master Obi-Wan Kenobi because he really did disappoint him at the very end of their previous mission after making a great error.
Some parts of the story told from Obi-Wan's point of view tell us that he cannot live without Anakin that to him, Anakin is the most important person in the whole wide galaxy.

And one other thing. These two Mawan guys, Rorq and Swanny (a leader of the band) who are underground guides, helping Obi-Wan and Anakin - they are SO funny ! Everything they do or say will make you want to laugh, really !! These two muscular men are real comedians !! : D

I do believe this JQ #6 is one of the best JQ series and you will find Anakin reluctantly taking a step closer to the Dark Side.
