Product Description
Synopsis
Find out how to escape the evil clutches of Professor Fiendish, why maths could save us from the destruction of life on Earth, and meet Pythagoras, who got so upset about maths that he murdered someone. Plus, One Finger Jimmy and the rest of the gang are here to show how dangerous maths can be.

From the Author
Who can see you stark naked right now?
Yes indeed, even as you stare at your computer screen there are beings that can see you STARK NAKED. They can even see your insides working and everything! That's just one of the bizarre features explained in More Murderous Maths, along with how to make One Sided Paper, how to handle speed, how to make your teacher's head explode and even HOW TO BE FAMOUS FOR EVER! You'll meet triangle numbers, and the psychic blobs and beat the Troll's ghastly challenge. You'll also catch up with One Finger Jimmy, Half Smile and the gang, defeat Professor Fiendish with some diabolical dominoes, and discover the sneaky trick that made The Great Rhun of Jepatti so filthily rich. This book is NOT for people under 7 or over 104 years old.

4.0 out of 5 stars The original sequel to 'Murderous Maths' before the WHOLE series evolved, 8 Mar 2007
`Guarantee - this book contains no nasty exercises and no boring sums!'

`Is Maths making you miserable?
Are you frightened by figures and scared stupid by speed?
Or, maybe you've already found out about `Murderous Maths'?
Even if you haven't, get ready to discover some `More Murderous Maths'.

Find out how to escape the evil clutches of Professor Fiendish, why maths could save us from the utter destruction of life on Earth, and meet perilous Pythagoras, who got so upset about Maths that he murdered someone.
Plus....., One Finger Jimmy and the rest of the gang are here to show you just how catastrophically dangerous maths can be.'

Ask an adult - a certain generation of folk may cringe when they recall the good old school days when Maths was taught, er.......properly?

`So, if it takes 10 men 6 years to dig a tunnel using spades, how long will it take us 3 using this plastic spoon?', the colourful, humorous cover opens to 159 pages, split over
19 chapters:-

5.0 out of 5 stars Just as good as the first, 12 Feb 2000
Most authors find it hard to write a good sequal, but Kjartan Poskitt has managed to do it, introducing Maths in a fun and murderous way, he gives you more gory stories and more ways to amaze your fiends and family with your unimaginably strange Maths Puzzles!
