5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Study aid for GCSE Maths, 4 Dec 2001
By A Customer
I had undertaken GCSE Maths for the third time and this book was recommended to me as part of the study for the course. It is easy to use and the language is easy to understand. It had been 15 years since I last looked at 'O' Level/GCSE Maths and I could follow it without any problems. The maths today is alot different with more formulaes but it is easy to understand. I would recommend it to anyone especially to people who are resitting maths at GCSE level. My general guidelines would be read the book, look at and write out the examples given. Then start to do the exercises in the book following the example, then and only when you have completed the exercise look at the answers at the back of the book. Remember the answers are not printed at the back of the exam paper!! If you have any difficulties remember your maths teacher is the person to ask they probably example it simpler or show you from your workings where you went wrong. I ended up getting a Grade C at GCSE Intermediate Level in Maths in June 2001.
