I first got this book as a christmas present when i was much younger. As a young fan of thomas the tank engine i thought that this was the best present ever it is a collection of all of the original thomas tales written by Rev. W. Awdry. it comes complete with profiles of the writer himself and the three illustrators. a great book for any thomas fan young or old and i still enjoy reading it with my younger cousins

I don't know who is enjoying this book the most - my husband, my son or me. It's simply delightful! We all dote on the stories and love the engines. It's truly a family hit!

This is the complete original series as written by Rev. Awdry. This is an exceptional book in that as you tell it to your children, you can see the characters develop. My boys enjoy the stories, even though they only get ONE story a night. In the afterword there is a splendid microbiography of Rev. Awdry, as well as bios of the various illustrators. Come to think about it, I might better buy another copy, as this copy is well worn by loving hands.

One of the greatest series of Children's stories ever created (alongside Enid Blyton's original "Noddy"), and an absolute must for kids of all ages.
