I discovered Anita Blake last year and have bought all to date and I cannot read them quick enough. It makes you wonder just what life could be like if there were such entities out there such as those in the very books that we are reading.

For anyone who likes the "darker side" type of books this series is a must, cannot wait for the next book.

Imagination is a wonderful thing:-)))

this book is Laurell K. Hamilton's best anita blake so far had a fast and gripping story line could not put it down the pace is slow enough to enjoy the book but fast enough so you don't get bored if you like anita blake buy this one

okay there was the obligatorary sex fest that seems to have become the staple of anita blake books recently. But this was leaps and bounds better than Danse Macabre. And that is not saying this is a great book. Ms Hamilton seems to have lost her way after Obsidian Butterfly/ Narcissus in chains up to then the books were amazing. After that cheap porn. but this to me signals a long anticipated return to form and i for one say THANK GOD! Edward is back and Olaf. Edward getting a bit chatty which i didn't like. hopefully this is the end of the Richard saga. the book was good - could have been better but its almost like she is learning to write the plot again. before if there was an issue she shoved in a sex scene now there is an ACTUAL plot. Though that being said i have seen the blurb for the newest book and i worry that with her jason and the ardour its going to be sexathon for 300 pages. heres hoping for a continuation of good writing.
