The action continues from the end of the first book to the start of this with seamless precision. Story lines left unfinished in the first book continue in this some concluding in part and others continuing in the next book and perhaps beyond.Other new stories start here to be continued. The action is plentiful and detailed with technical descriptions clearly authentic. The only real criticizm that I would raise is with some of the non American characters. They are sometimes stereotyped such as stiff upper lipped British titled Admirals and sinister Arab characters.The story line is very much biased towards the US Navy as you might expect with others such as the Royal Navy playing little or no part. However it is a hard to put down book that I very much enjoyed and I "had" to start the next one in the series as soon as I finished Seawolf
