5.0 out of 5 stars Very thorough, excellent, 26 Aug 2003
By A Customer
I run a group for mother's of young babies and have found this book to be indispensible. There is so little written of practical use with physical things you can do with babies under a year. This book shows you how to stimulate the baby and encourage movement, head control, crawling, standing and walking. The exercises are easy, practical and don't require any equipment at all besides your own lap, hands, a wall and some soft toys and cushions. The author also goes into common reasons for delays in physical development with tips on how to overcome these. There is also a section for special development needs children.
