5.0 out of 5 stars SHARING A MARVELOUS GIFT, 28 Oct 2001
By Carol H. Jenkins (New Albany, IN USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
George Anderson and Andrew Barone use the analogy of a garden to describe "life" in the hereafter. While their task might be compared to trying to explain the concept of sight to someone blind from birth, they present an inviting prospect of peace and hope.
George Anderson provides valuable insights into why we are here as well as where we are going. He doesn't pretend that he can magically heal grief, but he discusses the process of bereavement with compassion and understanding.
Mr. Anderson shows great respect for his gift, but his descriptions of his experiences contacting the hereafter are written with self-deprecating humor.
This is a very readable book filled with comfort and love.

4.0 out of 5 stars George Anderson Walking in the Garden of Souls., 1 Feb 2006
By A Customer
I couldn't put this book down.I felt as though George Anderson really hit the nail on the head as to how bereaved people feel(he could have been reading my mind). He seems a compassionate, genuine person. He uses the image of a garden in the book to tell us that how you conduct your life on earth will denote how abundant that garden will be when you pass over.I believe him.
I'm passing this book around my family as I feel they will be comforted by reading it.He speaks honestly and sympathetically about his experiences which makes this book all the more believable.
