4.0 out of 5 stars Good read aloud book for a class, 19 Nov 1998
By A Customer
I read this book last year to my 5th grade Waldorf School class during our study of ancient Egypt. The class loved it. They were engaged and since I read it I was able to answer their questions. It really enlivened our trip to the Met when we sat in a gallery full of her images.

4.0 out of 5 stars We thought this book was too complicated for 6 graders, 30 Oct 1998
By A Customer
As a group we would recommend this book for 7 graders+ because it has hard words to understand. The book has a good plot but in the first half of the book nothing really happened. If you get this book for a class buy one for everyone because it's easier to understand the vocabulary. You can a learn lot of new vocabulary and a lot about Ancient Egypt.

3.0 out of 5 stars This is reflection on the book His Majesty,Queen Hatshepsut, 30 Oct 1998
By A Customer
We have came to a conclusion that the vocabulary was too difficult for 6th grade level. Also,it was boring at some parts because it didn't have action or interesting facts. We also thought it was hard too understand the Egyptian customs. We liked this book because it gave us information about Egyptian culture. We would recommend this book to 8th and 9th graders because of the vocabulary.

We would not recommend the book: His Majesty Queen Hatshepsut to read aloud, but other wise it might be alright. Read more
