Product Description

Product Description
Argues that conflicts within and between people lie at the core of emotional distress. Uniting various schools of therapy with her own insights, psychologist Susan Heitler describes conflict resolution strategy, using case examples.

From the Author
For whom was this book written?
From Conflict to Resolution was primarily written for psychotherapists. It offers an integrative treatment model. That is, the book is for therapists who want to be able to utilize a wide diversity of therapy techniques unified within one comprehensive guiding framework.

The book also seems to strike a strong chord for people interested in theory and techniques of conflict resolution. Lawyers, for instance, tell me that the ideas in the book prove especially useful for them.

By A Customer
Dr. Heitler pulls together all the various kinds of therapy, uniting them under one umbrella concept--conflict. She then gives you the most detailed explanations of how to do therapy, and a ton of examples, so you can be a much better therapist. If you are a self-help person this book also could be very enlightening.
