Let down quite badly by its small size (just bigger than A5), this book does have amazing, high quality, high gloss, colour pictures of Marilyn Monroe. If, like me, you're only interestd in her timeless beauty, this is a must have. If you want her life story, go for a different book. Be aware! Though the introduction is short, it uses very, very strong profanities.

marilyn is stunning in this fabulous collection of photographs, which range from her days as a struggling model with her hair long and dark to the early days of her fame, right through to her final days with the platinum hair and ever heavy eyelids. the text is most interesting, truman capote tells a short story of marilyn i would imagin not alot of people would know. not only would i recommend this to marilyn fans, but also to anyone who like an insight into the real norma jean.
