4.0 out of 5 stars An exellent read!, 7 July 2004
By A Customer
This book continues the struggle Janie (and her, well, two families) find when ajustments need to be made without question or argument. Janie starts her new life in torture of
home-sickness and worry about what her Johnson family are doing or thinking.

Reeve he's another thing to worry about and miss, he herns for Janie and her return. Janie and Reeve need to talk to each other and are sure both their hearts and souls are not going to be able to survive, but are banned from any form of communication!

If you have read it's companion 'The face on the milk carton' you will surely love to read 'whatever happened to Janie'. Caroline B. Cooney thrills you with anticipation as you feel like you are living with Janie in the terrible mess that has turned out to be her life.

4.0 out of 5 stars the most exciting book I've ever read, 3 Jun 1999
By A Customer
this sequel ties up all the loose ends that were left loose in the previous book. It gives the story a whole new perspective and it is packed full of excitment. I only gave it 4 out of 5 because I enjoyed some of the author's previous novels better.
