4.0 out of 5 stars another novel concept from a fantastic storyteller, 10 Dec 2001
By A Customer
This has the usual basis of the conflict between good and evil, plus a devious seeker after power. But the idea of the Wind as a magic entity and its captured and then freed power, and the suspicious families/tribes is a combination of such human frailty with mystic abilities, never overplayed or overexplained, is wonderful. I loved it, and its slower pace.
