I ordered this book from Amazon because I had read and enjoyed a couple of this authors previous books written as Michele Jerott.
However, since reading this book I am left trying to decide just what sort of story I've read.
Briefly, the plot is about a woman P.I who is hired to find and recover an Ancient Egyptian artifact. She finds her main suspect in virtually the next paragraph, and the rest of the book centers on their relationship. The book couldn't have been written as a suspence novel, because there is none. It's lacking in romantic tension, and there is no humourous dialogue between the characters. If this had been the first book I had read by this author, I wouldn't have tried another, so I am glad that I didn't miss Absolute Trouble and Her Bodyguard which were both excellent.
