4.0 out of 5 stars Short Story Bonanza!, 31 Oct 2001
By A Customer
This book is great. It includes around 15 short stories from many great fantasy writers.
Nicola Griffith, Nalo Hopkinson, George R.R. Martin, Robert Sheckley, Michael Swanwick, just to name two.

With 15 stories in a book of 400 odd pages, you may think that these are very short stories, but they're not. The font size it what you would expect of a very large novel, so the stories seem to just keep on coming.

Comparing this to other short story books such as Legends (Ed by Robert Silverburg) this book rules, by it's sheer amount of stories.

A few stories were a bit disapointing, but it all depends on your tastes.

This is a must for anyone who's favourite author has included a short story, someone looking for a new fantasy author to read, or someone just starting to read fantasy. Highly Recomended.
