5.0 out of 5 stars An obvious 'second of three' but still gripping., 24 April 2001
By A Customer
This title displays the same flare that has been present in all Lindskolds writing to date. The characters are well portrayed and their situations graphically described. If like me you felt real anger towards Louhi and her treatment of the Changer you will be just as absorbed by Legends Walking. The plot is an obvious bridge between two tales, and there are so many paths left open at the end that a further sequel is inevitable. That is not to say that the book is frustrating, not ion the least. The very real evolution of the characters and the resolution of the main story mean that you are kept in thrall for the full 400 pages. One of the main reasons for this is that the book doesn't really focus on the same characters as last time. They are all present, but theirs is not the leading role. This promises to be the most entertaining fantasy epic of this decade. My only complaint is that this was released in 99 and it is now 2001. Where is the third book in the series? I WANT IT!
