I was expecting much more from this book having read the other reviews...Most of the book is irrelevant. Even if you have a basic knowledge of promoting a business (press releases, advertisements, signs etc.), then this book will be largely useless. The level it goes down to even includes suggesting the use of presentation software for presentations!!. A couple of useful ideas, but I shouldn't have wasted my time and the paltry $6.

I just completed reading 101 Ways to Promote Yourself! Wow!!! So much information packed in a small package at a small price. You are a Genius! Every page of your book will be useful for me. I can't believe that such a powerful resource has been available and I had the book for 3 months before I picked it up and began to read it. Shame on me!This is a treasure. Thanks for your generosity in providing such a great reference piece at such little cost.

Whilst I did get some ideas from this book, the book is based on old ideas with only a very minor mention of the Internet at the end which seems to have been added on as a last note. I'm pretty sure some of the ideas in the book are no longer viable or possible to do in this age. Simply written and a lot of back patting for other people. It seems to be more of a self-promotional reference book for other people in various industries and only based in the U.S.A. For something global, buy a different book. In hindsight, I would not buy this book again.
