I have read and re-read every book that Johanna Lindsey has published...and I will probably continue to do so. This book, as well as Warrior's Woman, has pride of place on my bookshelf (and let me tell you my bookshelf is vast). Falon, to my mind is the man of most womens dreams...I just have to keep asking myself how Johanna keeps coming up with heros you really wish were real and heroines (who, although too gorgeous for words) you actually find yourself liking. I know some people might be a bit put off to know that there are scenes in which a woman gets spanked, but hey, it doesn't say it's right and it's an entirely different world.

I've read this book only last summer of 1997 and I really enjoyed ever page. At first I didn't quite understand the setting of the story because I didn't read Warriors Woman first which was supposed to be the story of Shanelle's mother and father but anyway as I progressed, I could finally understand and imagine what type of scenery it was supposed to be. I fell in love with Falon because after he beat his wife, he consoled her and comforted her and loved her to pieces. It's not exactly termed as wife beating -- I personally didn't view it that way -- it's more of teaching her a lesson so she wouldn't do it again, lest the hurt it would cause her. To Ms. Lindsey, keep squeezing out those romantic ideas -- I've read them all and I can't wait to read another one of your creations.

I loved both of these books, and to be honest I came here looking for a third book. I have read Keeper of the Heart and Warrior's Woman at least 10 times each and I just know I will be reading them again soon. I have been a huge fan of JL's work sence I fell in love with Angel and I am so happy to know that JL puts so much love and feeling in every one of her books. So thank you JL you are trully a wonderful woman and I am forever in your debt for all the joy your novel have brought me. I can only hope that you will write another one maybe with Dalden, Dreven or maybe with Shanelle's son this time. I look forward to reading any and all of your books I can get my hands on.
