This book picks up where Song of the River left off. Chakliux and his brother Sok have decided to live in the Cousin River Village after it lost the battle with the Near River Village. Aqamdax, whose heart belongs to Chakliux, is married to the one-armed Night Man. This book is action-packed with so many deaths and
