I wish I could go and live in Balaclava Junction, Charlotte MacLeod creates a town you wish you could move to, (just watch you back)!! With people you feel you know. It's a crazy place but that's the attraction and most of the people are such wonderful characters. It must be said however that it's not a good idea to know too much. then keep it to yourself. I have read this book several times and I search for her other books in bookstores and libraries; when I go to America I always come home with as many as I can find. If you like your murder mysteries spiked with humour and set in places that seem more real than your own neighborhood, kick off your shoes, mix a Balaclava Boomerang and enjoy.
