This wonderful love story so touched my heart. The storyline portrays the complete trust both characters learned to have in each other......it's just an incredible journey for Lia and Damian. Blackmailed Into Marriage is five stars and so much more!

The story begins with Lia seeking assistance from her Spanish aristocratic family. She asks her grandfather for financial assistance in order to save her little girl from a heart defect. Her grandfather demands and blackmails her into marrying Damian to gain financial aid. Damian who is an incredibly proud man stands to gain acceptance into Spanish aristocracy though this marriage, plus heirs and respectability.

However, on the first night of the honeymoon, Lia shares a secret which she fears will cause Damian not to honor his promise to help her daughter. It's of such magnitude that she's afraid her new husband will leave. From that night, this couple begin such a sensual and incredible journey into love and trust it will steal your breath away.

Trust me, you'll just have to get the book. You won't be able to put it down.

An exceptionally moving story that shows love can conquer all. Faced with a sexual dysfunction that would cripple most marriages Lia and Damian beat the odds and build a relationship that will stand the test of time.

This is a fantastic and poignant book. When Lia approached her Spanish grandfather who had disowned her for eloping with her childhood sweetheart when she was 18, for assistance with paying for her daughter's open heart surgery, she did not expect that he will blackmail her into a marriage deal with Damian Marques, but Lia would do anything for her daughter and was forced to agree, even though she knew she could not fulfil the terms of the deal. Damian had been in love with Lia from the very first time he saw her as a teenager, but had agreed to the marriage to gain a title and acceptance into the Spanish nobility circle, an acceptance hitherto denied him by his illegimate birth.

This is an inspiring and beautifully told romantic tale of love, trust, and how overcoming adversity can forge a lasting bond of love and trust between two people. What I liked best about this book is how well Lucy portrayed the medical condition of sexual dysfunction and the plight of people that suffer from it like the Heroine Lia. She explored this in depth, and how it can be treated. Her personal note to readers on this at the end of the book is a nice touch. Aside from that, the journey of the hero and the heroine from a shaky beginning to their marriage (-blackmail and business deal) to mutual understanding, patience with each other, communicating honestly and learning to trust and love each other was very well portrayed and enjoyable to read. Learning to trust Damian completely and unreservedly was a big factor in Lia's healing and recovery. The hero was exceptional in the loving and patient way he handled his reluctant bride. This is a wonderful book on a lot of levels with a lot of depth and soul-stirring moments. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. This is a must read and a must keep for all readers.
