This is a wonderful story; Linda Howard has done it again!

Rachel Jones finds wounded man washed up on the beach with bullet wounds. Her instincts tell her that this is not a criminal and that if she informed the authorities his very life would be in danger. Taking him home and looking after him herself is her only option.

Kell Sabine is a Government Agent whose identity is buried so deep that only a few know if his existence. Someone had betrayed him and he only had the help of this beautiful brave woman.

Kell Sabine also appears in White Lies - Both books are warm, sexy and exiting! I recommend both books.

An absolute fantastic read. I can't remember how many times I have read this book, it's one of the first Linda Howard books I read and it got me hooked. The hero Kel Sabin is the kind of guy you dream of running into. Rachel, our heroine is very likeable and couragous. I did feel sorry for her waiting so long for his return. Must read for any romance fan.

This is another classic story from Linda Howard, she is one of my favourite authors and after reading this book, i am reminded as to why. The tension between the characters is immense and the story is fast paced and well written. If you like this book try out the other stories in this series, Midnight Rainbow and Heartbreaker. If there are any more in this series, then please let me know.
