When Tycho digs up a weird egg-shaped object his life will take an unexpected turn. The egg is a time machine. As he changes his past, he also changes the present and the future for himself and his family. Each time it seems to get worse.

I didn't expect very much of this one. Boy was I surprised! This story hooked me from the get-go and I had to read on and see how it all turned out. A nice title. This was the first Sleator book I read but not the last.
