Because there is so little available on this subject it was refreshing to see a book with this title.
The book begins with the fears of the husband that his wife is cuckolding him, and the realization that it is infact exactly what he wants. It gives a quite accurate account of the kinds of thoughts,fears, and doubts that such a relationship brings. For me however, I would have prefered the relationship between the husband and wife to be a little less "cold" and more of a shared loving ( although unusual ) thing.

definately worth a read if you are interested in this subject.

What a great read, I couldn't put it down until finished.

The first half of the book is concerned with Edwin's paranoia. Is his wife having an affair or is there a rational explanation for all his doubts. Of course we know the answer to that, after all the book is called "Cuckold". To me this was the best part of the book and exceptionally well written.

The second half is on more traditional lines with Edwin again trying to come to terms with his wife's infidelities and his reactions to her solution for their continuing marriage. It seemed to me to end to quickly, I am sure there is still plenty of mileage to be had from Edwin and Desdemona's relationship. Amber Leigh please take note.

I came to this book via Wife Swap (Nexus Enthusiast) and was expecting great things. Especially given the previous write-ups.

Whilst I'm not even vagely in the field of cuckoldry I do find the story line some what thin and hardly credible.

The fact that her threatening divorce proceedings against him when shes off satisfying her needs with anything with legs (male or female) is annoying and then becomes irritating. Granted this is a fantasy book so poetic license is expected, but you still have to retain some sanity/sense about situations to make them even plausible - this does not.

He seems to spend most of his waking hours (and a good three-quarters of the book) wondering whether she is cheating. And then thinking of excuses to explain the bleeding obvious that she IS!

Now I thought the whole philosophy of this area of relationships was respect, and mutual respect at that. And that both parties enter into this behaviour jointly as consenting adults. "Dezzies" approach appears to be shag first tell later - and threaten divorce proceeding if he doesn't comply ?!

This may well fall into the area of dominatrix (or sub/dom stuff) - not Cuckold!

Even when the poor bugger is enlighten and set various tasks to proven/affirm his is complicit with her behaviour the story ends rather abruptly. Rather odd.

He worries, she fornicates, he worries more, she fornicates more, he finds out, she tells him to fall in line, he complies, she fornicates even more .. then end!

This is generally one weird book, not for the territory it's trying to cover, just from the story/plot/behvioural aspect.

I'm sorry to say this does not tick any of my boxes for fun reading. I read it
1 - to provide a review
2 - because I bought the damn thing!
