Product Description

Product Description

A tale of sensual foods and gourmet sexual appetites from the ever-popular Emma Holly. The Coates Inn restaurant in Cape Cod is about to go out of business when its striking owner, Abby, jumps at a stranger's offer of help - both in her kitchen and her bedroom. Storm, a handsome chef, claims to have a secret weapon: an aphrodisiac menu that her patrons won't be able resist. It certainly works on Abby - who gives in to the passions she has denied herself for years. But can this playboy/chef really be Abby's hero if her body means more to him than her heart, and this initial plan was to steal her restaurant from under her nose? Storn soon turns the restaurant around, but Abby's insatiable desires have taken over her life. She's never known a guy into crazy sex like him before, and she wants to spend every spare mooment getting as much intense erotic pleasure as she can. Meanwhile, her best friend Marissa becomes suspicious of the new wonder-boy in the kitchen. Before things get really out of control, someone has to assume responsibility. But can Abby tear herself away from the object of her lustful affection long enough to see what's really going on?

From the Author

Here's the story of COOKING UP A STORM
The Coates Inn is about to go belly up when beleaguered owner Abby Coates jumps at a stranger's offer to help - both in her kitchen and in her bed. This handsome fellow claims to have a secret weapon, an all-aphrodisiac menu that her customers won't be able to resist. But can this playboy-chef really save the day when Abby's body means more to him than her heart, and when stealing her restaurant out from under her means the most of all? --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

3.0 out of 5 stars SEXUAL BUT NOT SEXY!, 2 Feb 2005
By Rita Marchi "BOOK FREAK" (COVENTRY, UNITED KINGDOM) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
There is certainly plenty of sex in here but I have to say no sense of realism at all.An old man who suddenly everyone wants to have sex with, a lesbian who is not in the least put off by the fact that the person she is having sex with has a penis, a sweet thing who suddenly becomes everyone's Pamela Anderson and a chef, the hero by the way, who turns a whole town on apparently by adding the right herbs to his dishes.(If these herbs truly had such a drastic affect I would be crawling around my local supermarkets now and clearing the shelves). The 'hero' I found gave me a bit of a creepy feeling and I could not believe that there were any true feeling involved from any of the characters. It certainly didn't leave me with a warm feeling that these people were in any way in love or even in lust with each other, very much a pornographic book rather than an erotic book. Don't get me wrong I love hot sex in my reads but there was just something wrong about this story, I do like the people involved to be desperate to shag that particular person not just anyone who happens to be in the same room.
If you only want sex great buy it now but if you like romance with your sex forget it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Will make you hot under the collar!, 14 May 2003
By A Customer
To say I wasn't all that interested in cooking before I read this book is an understatement! If only we all could find a man like Storm;) This book will make you want to sit in front of an air conditioner while reading it the scenes are THAT hot! Is a great read but just don't read it when you'll have to put it down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great all-rounder, 18 Jun 2002
Emma Holly manages to create the perfect mix of ingredients here (no pun intended!) for a quality erotic novel. Excellent plot and characterisation, well-written inticing sex scenes, marvelously handled sense of humour, and a dubious yet compelling hero for us - great stuff! Keep up the good work, Emma!
