5.0 out of 5 stars Mind blowing and essential reading, 11 Sep 2001
By Michael Peters (Bury St Edmunds, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is all about the effect of glyconutritionals on the body. It's well documented and clearly stated. It demonstrates how the body can heal itself from chronic and degerative diseases by the addition of eight essential sugars that are mostly absent from our diet today. But by adding them, the immune system is modulated and does the job that it was designed to do! Dr Emil Mondoa and his co writer Mindy Kitei, document how the newly emerging science of glcobiology has found that the eight essential saccharides are the basis of cellular communication--without them our immune systems just can't recognise self from non-self, sick or cancerous cells from healthy cells. This is so simple yet so complicated that it's just plain sense. I believe that this is one of the most important books ever written and that it will become a medical best-seller for both doctor and layman alike.
