5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant use of the imagination, 4 Jan 2000
By A Customer
Mad Amos is a sort of WILSON Character(read the Wizard Comic) who spans time & distance with ease. Set mainly in the 'Wild West' time frame, Amos is a living ledgend in this timeline. The Author has used his SciFi background to place Amos in the past but with much of the knoweledge & ideas we have today. The pictures presented reminded me of some of the great Radio Programmes of the past (War of the worlds) where you imagination camn run riot. The tales in this collection are very well crafted and make an excellent read. I'm sure there is enough meat on this character for a full novel. Even though there is 'magic' in this book there is no chance this book can be filed under 'fantasy'.
