4.0 out of 5 stars beleivable and intriguing. actually, 26 Nov 2002
In the second installment of the mallorean, David Eddings continues the epic quest for the abductor of Belgarions son. With his dryad gueen Ce'Nedra, the drasnian Silk, Polgara the Sorceress and her father, the legendary Belgarath the Sorcerer Belgarion must follow the trail of Zandramas after his son. An overpowering read for first time readers of the literary giant, the only fault to be found with the novel is its annoying similarity to the "Elenium" his other series. Apart from this lapse, "King of the Murgos" is an amazing read for fans and first time tryers alike. Definitely worth anyones time. If you are trying a new author, make it David Eddings!

4.0 out of 5 stars One of their Better books, 28 Nov 2002
The books is one of the authers books. One good thing about it is that the pace is much faster then in "Guardian of the West" which while being a good book was a bot slow.

In this book we continue following Belgarion on his quest to find his son and his Kidnapper. in course of this story we meet some old favourits and Some new ones who will become favourites.

we also get to find out a lot more about the murgos their culture, etc and a surprise revelation.I woud't spoil it for you so go on and enjoy the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars This book was very well- written, 24 Sep 2000

This book was very good. In some places it was kind of slow. In this book, Garion and his ''team'' continue on their quest to save Geran, thwart Zandramas, and stop the other Prophecy. I commend David Eddings on another great book. Bravo!
