This is one of the longer Kipper stories which made it perfect for reading to both my children ages 3 and 6. My 3 yr old boy chose it every night for over a week and really enjoyed it. There are so many references to every day life its hard not to love this Kipper classic.

about the lovable character, `Kipper' and his cereal packet `free gift`!

`The free gift on Kipper's cornflakes turns out to be the fattest, shiniest, beachiest ball he has ever seen.
But how long will it last?'

When the `free gift' drops into his cereal bowl, Kipper takes it off to his friend Tiger's house and the pair ponder over the `colourful, wrinkly sort of thing', before setting off on another adventure.

32 high quality shiny pages, packed full of exciting, descriptive text and endearing illustrations, in the popular 2-page spread format.

Example of text:-

`The sea grabbed it. And for a moment it stopped spinning, as if to catch its breath, before a wave whooshed up the beach and sucked it out into the surf.
`Come back!' shouted Kipper. But by th etime Kipper and Tiger reached the water's edge, the ball was bobbing far out among the waves.
`Come back!'

An excellent `read-to-me' story for the younger child, progressing to `read-with-me'.......and..... bound to be requested regularly!
