Product Description

FROM DAY ONE . . . TO THE NIGHT BEFORE YOUR EXAMS

“A flyweight with the punching power of a champion...this will serve the student well as a revision aid, essay planner and a learning key, as well as being truly portable, good value for money and comprehensive. I was so impressed, I got a copy and recommend all students do so.”
Social Science Teacher (about the 1st edition)

The A-Z Handbook explains all the key terms in Advanced Level Psychology. Each entry begins with a clear definition and is followed by an explanation and/or worked examples. The more important the term, the more detailed the entry. The A-Z format makes it exceptionally easy to use.

this book contains the information in overall psychology, but the areas that interest me more are the topics on cognitive and social studies. it has helped me a great deal in my university course of psychology and recommnded it to other students.

4.0 out of 5 stars The complete A-Z Psychology handbook, 8 Jan 2004
By A Customer
The book gives you a range key words needed for the AS and A level psychology course. It gives you good clear definitions of all the words and they are simple to unserstand. It has been written at just the right level for AS and A2. I found it particulary helpful when doing a vocabulary list for psychology as it gave good clear definaitions. I would recomend it to other people.

2.0 out of 5 stars A psychologybook with a few slips, 7 Dec 1999
Using this book, I sometimes wondered where I could find further information about a topic, but the book contains only about 20 referenes, not making it very friendly to jump from. Futhermore, it fails in distinguishing between e.g. 'constructionism' and 'constructivism', has 'in-book' references to uncovered subjects, and uses undescribed shortforms. Apart from the above, it is rather well written. Thomas Duus Henriksen Stud. BA psych / Stud. scient Soc.
